Jelson Industries is a company that offers carrier services to customers. The company has experienced consistent growth as a result of the strategy implemented over the years. Although the strategies implemented have dealt with most of the challenges faced by the company, Jelson still faces some major issues. The issues identified in the report include driver shortages, failure to constantly adapt to regulatory changes, and customer service. The costs that are associated with the regulations are high since the company is required to spend their resources to comply with the changes. The pool of available truck drivers is lower than the company’s ability to keep up with the increase in demand for transport. Jelson also finds it difficult to coordinate the right type of equipment and capacity, know different timelines and retailer requirements, and determine optimized scheduling.
