The Ontarians have over time had a positive experience through the use of the Environmental Bill of Rights tool that saw the development of a public action on the wetland policies that have heavily affected the environment. It is therefore essential to note that the EBR website has made it easy for the Ontarians to write and make their arguments, a factor that requires no legal representation. The site allows individuals to provide the issues they face and the evidences that validate their allegations and does not need the submission of a lab test data. Through the website, the users have access to a guidebook that walks them through the approaches required to complete the EBR application effectively.
On the other hand, the website is also open to all the citizens of Ontario. This therefore allows all people from all walks of life to submit their concerns and application through the website. It also allows the retirees to first nation groups, students, environmental research groups, members of the provincial parliament, Municipal councilors and rural property owners. This therefore allows two individuals who are allowed to sign as long as they are both citizens of Ontario.
Additionally, it is also essential to determine that the website in also confidential since in an event where an applicant submits an application on the website, their names including other personal information are not disclosed to either the office or the ministry. In as much as individuals are allowed to go public, the website still maintains a higher standard of confidentiality, a factor that has made it easier for individuals to file their submissions.
