The century of revolution had a lot of activities going on in different countries, one of them being the language acquisition and use. Egypt was the gateway to the northern section of Africa and the Arab World. Its introduction of the press, journalism, improved literature, and led to the spread of the language in the country (Owens, 2013). However, little is said about the origin of the media and the media. The Frech were the first people to introduce the press in Egypt, through the print media, when they managed to use this to communicate to the people.
The war with other countries from Europe was introducing English and Portuguese languages. Such was not auguring well with the native Arabian worlds, and they needed a proper step to revert this (Owens, 2013). Other than the initially slow methods, the people had adopted fast printing and managed to improve the printing press and more. One factor that led to the full distribution was the jingoism of the people towards their culture, which also touched on other countries. It is imperative to note that had the Egyptians not taken a keen interest in their Arabian language, it would not have been technical to handle this case.
