The book discusses the various occasions and factors that led to the failure of the British army during the overtaking of Yorktown. The various considerations of morale and the general health of the army played a substantial role in the determination of its strength to overcome the opponents. The health of the British army was compromised when the Americans surrounded the town hence making it difficult for them to access ammunition and food.
