Evaluation of Process for Evidence-based Practice
Evidence-based practice (EBP) is one of the main principles in medicine in the current age. It involves practicing medicine based on research on the problem at hand; adhering to high standards of quality and safety in focus on the patient’s needs (Ellis, 2019). Effective implementation of Evidence-Based research requires a good evaluation plan that covers different stages.
Data Collection Mechanisms
In order to obtain accurate and valid data, proper data collection mechanisms are employed. The methods used for the EBP plan are observation, interviews, questionnaires, and finally, laboratory tests from samples collected. Through observation, the researcher can obtain first-hand data without assistance from a third party. The method is useful as I will be able to view data at first hand of ten individuals and get the finer details. By use of interviews and questionnaires, I will be able to obtain detailed information such as user feelings, symptoms, perceptions, and other detailed information concerning the ten individuals. Finally, I will collect samples from the ten individuals and conduct laboratory samples to conduct more tests to have a comprehensive and proper result analysis.
Outcome Measures Evaluation
The outcome measures determine the objectives of project success. Duffy, Dolan, and Buis (2019) assert that the evaluation of outcome measures helps researchers to assess the development and progress of a project. In my EBP, I will evaluate the Comparison of conditions that existed before and after the test. I will compare the ten participants' status and those who did not participate in the test for any change in body status, behavior, or any complications that may have developed during the project scope.
