Diabetes symptoms usually vary, depending on the variation of sugar levels within the individual. The main signs and symptoms of diabetes are increased thirst, extreme hunger, unexplained weight loss, fatigue, irritability, blurred vision, slow-healing sores, frequent gum infection, and the presence of ketone.
Prevention of Diabetes
Reducing sugar intake and refined carbohydrates is one of the prevention measures recommended by healthcare professionals. When an individual consumes too much sugar and refined carbohydrates, they increase the risk of developing diabetes. The body quickly metabolizes these sugars into molecules that are absorbed in the bloodstream. Whenever there is a rise in blood sugar, the pancreases produce much insulin.
