Making a Prototype of an Instant Milk Bottle

Have you ever been in the same room as a crying hungry baby? If you have, then you would know the stress of making a bottle of milk. With this product, anyone can easily make the perfect bottle of milk for the baby in an instant. This eliminates all the measuring and scooping with just one step! This is best used when on-the-go. Mothers will be free of the hassle and babies would get their milk much faster.

I substituted the infant formula container to a water-soluble pod. This way, making a bottle of milk will be done in seconds of shaking the bottle to dissolve the pod bearing the infant formula. This change made the entire design less bulky but it does change a lot about the initial design concept. The water-soluble pod for infant formula is a whole new product that can stand on its own.


Instead of having three parts to the design, it is reduced into just two parts—the water container and the silicone nipple. I combined the infant formula container and the silicone nipple. This way, all the areas of the product is maximized. This change made the product a little smaller and compact than the initial design.


The silicone nipple is replaced with a cap and the water container is reduced to a smaller one. The product is now used as a baby food maker and container. This is the design concept, but now, it can be used for dry cereal for baby.


I changed the 8 oz water container into 4 oz. This made the design much more compact and easier to carry. This change in design easier to hold by babies.


The product has been remodeled to cater to age groups other than babies. I replaced the part of the silicon nipple into a cap. It is designed to be a little bigger than the initial design. The whole design is reimagined for coffee, juice, etc.
