The reasons behind the success of Domino’s pizza are in their research interviews, like in their video on Filtering Job Candidates. Blamick (2008) explains that Domino’s has two main pillars that ensure the success of their employees. The first is putting them in a comfortable working environment, and the other is taking them through a course on pizza. Putting them in a relaxed atmosphere entails passing them through the various departments before employment. It benefits Domino’s by testing the attitude of its employees. That determines if they will work well by the reaction they depict, whether positive or negative. According to the video explanation by Blamick (2007), they end up getting the best employees by this aptitude test by foretelling the dedicated employees. They later place them in the departments they are comfortable working as a way of motivating them. The other step of passing them through a one week course on pizza acclimatizes them on the process. It advantages Domino by fully equipping its employees as they evaluate them by tests to get those that are thorough. The course gets them acquainted with the skills needed, like the speed and excellence in their work. There is always a linking factor in the product that helps them understand their job descriptions better. The course polishes their skills like they end up improving their speed in pizza making and learn about the process better to give the best.
