Where does hatred come from?
One wonders where racism comes from. It is something we are born with or something we learn. Mississippi burning film presents a creative writing of true events which are inspirited by shocking murders of three young men (two white and one black) by Ku Klux Klan (KKK) in Mississippi in 1964. Two FBI agents (Hackman and Ward) are sent to investigate the killers of the three civil rights activists. The movie is exciting and proved to be the best film of 1998.
Viewing this film makes one wish to have the opportunity to go back in 1964 and bring a change. It reflects how pointless and terrible racism is. The two FBI are of different views towards achieving the same goal which makes the bump heads with each other often. Dafoe portrays himself as a good actor although the casting gives him supports to make this film. From Dourif to Stephen Tobolwolski to Ermey lee, are high portrayed by the characters they play them. Above all, Michael Rooker (Frank) the worst, meanest, no conscience, black hating person that one can think to have ever seen on film. It is impossible to trace the origin of anger which makes the audience be attentive when he is on the screen. My hatred of his character was one of my pref...
