They benefited financially by selling radios to the soldiers in the navy during the World War I. They also benefited by selling exclusive rights of patents to the American telegraph and telephone companies. They also benefited financially through awards. 2.A company was formed. What was its name? What did the company do?
There was the De Forest Radio Company which broadcasted music and news to the people of America. There was also the Marconi Wireless Company developed by Armstrong and Marconi. Also, the Radio Corporation of America which was the world’s largest communication company came to be. It was headed by Sarnoff one of the three men who invented the radio and a Russian immigrant. The company broadcasted sports news; it manufactured the satellites of communication and made vinyl records. 3.There was a fight between two inventors concerning two radio technologies.
