The movie I am going to review is 2014’s Lucy.
Plot Summary
Lucy is an English language sci-fi movie produced by Virginie Besson-Silla and directed and written by Luc Besson. The story revolves around a 24-year-old young lady who moves from the United States to Taiwan for higher studies. Her boyfriend cheats on Lucy (Scarlett Johansson) and asks her to deliver a briefcase to one of his business contacts. The once-carefree student gets captured by thugs who conduct several experiments on her body and aim to turn Lucy into a drug mule. Later, she finds herself in a secret place where those thugs insert a potent chemical into her body. Once the operation is over, the chemical begins leaking into her body systems, giving Lucy extraordinary abilities and powers especially telepathy and telekinesis. The movie shows that instead of using 10 percent of her mind, Lucy begins to use 100 percent of her brain power. She wants to live a healthy life, and for this, Lucy starts seeking out a neurologist (Morgan Freeman) who can help her get out of this uncertain situation.

For example, if a group of cells inside the brain has been damaged, those cells will quickly die off and leave behind sufficient space for new cells to grow and divide at a fast speed (Brüne, 2016).
Psychology-related movie myth#2
The film follows the protagonist who gets a chance to use 100 percent of her brain and becomes more powerful. Interesting things start to happen, such as she can change the position of an object using her mental capabilities. Lucy automatically learns martial arts and can change the color or style of her hair...
