Released in 2018, Black Panther is an American superhero movie which is based on a Marvel Comics character of the same name. It is the 18th film in the MCU series and has been directed by Ryan Coogler (Tompkins, 2018). In Black Panther, T’Challa can be found wearing the crown and becoming the king of Wakanda right after the death of his father. The sovereignty of T’Challa is challenged by an adversary who decides to abandon the isolationist policies of the country. The most important theme of Black Panther is the absence of fathers.
