From an artist’s point of view, aesthetic elements play an integral part in how the quality of a video or footage is analyzed. These are not restricted to what we see or enjoy; in fact, they are associated with the mood of characters, colors, background, sound, feel and tonality and act as its powerful visual representation.
In the video titled The Best Documentary Ever - King Kamehameha the Great and the Battle of Nu'uanu Cliffs, the history of the Hawaiian Islands has been depicted. This 56-minute long video opens with a couple of men and shows their bravery and courage. It looks like they have no problem with traveling hundreds to thousands of miles. They have learned the hand-to-hand combat techniques and own advanced weapons. Their uniforms, strategies, and arms are far better and more advanced than the rivals. Almost all of them have learned martial arts, and are currently residing in Nuʻuanu Pali, the location of the Nuʻuanu Reservoir and the Nuʻuanu Freshwater Fish Refuge (2017).
The aim is to set their trapped valley free in one way or the other, and for this, some of them can be seen bringing their sharp knives and other weapons with them all the time. At a glimpse, we feel that this valley, as well as the residents, has no problem at all, meaning all of them are living a perfect life in the heart of those beautiful mountains. However, there is nothing like this; the enemy drives high in the valley, and the locals are ready to defeat them. The beauty and charm of this video lie in its overall presentation, visuals and the way it delivers the message of peace and harmony (2017).
