Comic Heroes: Why Captain America would beat Batman

Lab Report Instructions:

For this assignment, you need to write the Title, Introduction, and Methods of your lab report. "Why Captain America would beat Batman"
●Remember that your title needs to be descriptive rather than rhetorical.
●In your introduction, briefly mention previous research on your subject (you need at least 3 previous researchers) and then explain 1) the phenomenon that led you to 2) your hypothesis.
●Your methods section needs to be written clearly and thoroughly enough that anyone could repeat the experiment if necessary. Also, you may only rely on real, actually existing scientific methods and tools to perform the experiment. This will probably be the most difficult part of the lab report to write because you want to make sure that your experiment is as conclusive as possible (i.e., that there are not any other possible explanations for the results). Your methods should be written as a narrative in the past tense.
Please use scholarly peer reviewed sources!!!

Introduction
Comic heroes Captain America and Batman have been the source of debate regarding their strength for a long time. Batman came years before Captain America did, but his experience is no match for Captain America’s superhuman strength. This lab report explains why Captain America would beat Batman based on previous research by Kristopher Reavely in his Comics Bulletin website (2014). Based on the characteristics of both characters, it was easy to come up with a hypothesis.
Hypothesis: Captain America would beat Batman due to his superhuman strength among other qualities.
Methods used
A collection of comic books involving situations where Batman and Captain America played a major role were collected and analyses and summarization of their powers, experience, agility and intelligence were done to determine who would have an added advantage if both Batman and Captain America were to fight or compete. Comic books were categorized based on a specific duration of years since their release. This is the only way to get a clear view of the characters’ experiences (Dhumal 2013).
Results
Based on the description of the characters actions in the comic books, it was clear that Captain America could easily beat Batman because he didn’t need any technological enhancements to improve his performance in the field. There were other attributes that made Captain America more likely to win. He was stronger and could lift over ten times the weight Batman could, he was faster on the ground and more agile than Batman who relies on gadgets to propel himself.
Captain America had spent some time in a military camp where he got his training from. His fighting skills are much better than Batman’s. He wields one weapon which is more powerful than all of Batman’s gadgets put together (Richards 2011).
Conclusion
After studying both characters’ traits and descriptions, it was found that Batman wouldn’t stand a chance against Captain America if it came to a fight. Captain America has more strength, power and speed to beat Batman. He is also younger and fitter than Batman, making it easy for him to win.
