This memo addresses the topic of transport infrastructure in a detailed manner and lists the necessary policy recommendations. Most people believe that transport is the backbone of society. For that reason, the government should invest more in transportation and infrastructure. Arguably, there is an urgent need to rebuild infrastructure in the U.S. because it is a “demanded amenity by all citizens.” Investment in infrastructure helps in the increment of any inequalities in society. Before rebuilding the U.S. infrastructure, the government should ensure that it includes everyone equitably. Notably, this will ensure that no one will accuse the government of dismissing the concerns of its citizens. In the past, most people were unable to meet their targets due to traffic and inefficiencies. With the construction of a new infrastructure, we should maintain the infrastructure that exhibits an equitable and all-inclusive society.
Senator Michael Bennet will benefit directly from addressing infrastructure issues in the United States. In his memorandum, Senator Michael expresses his intention to “expand fiscal stabilizers” to “create a fast track infrastructure fund.” The idea is essential in setting up a money pool where both the local and state governments can tap when advancing projects off the ground (Figueroa 433). Such a method will reduce the time used for authorization of funds needed for development purposes. Bennet can obtain support from the public by involving the Federal Reserve staff in his plan.
