According to Franklin, not all boomerangs come back. Hundreds of years ago, they were considered dangerous weapons and Franklin claimed that they were specifically made to hunt animals for food. A returning boomerang is often used as a bird decoy and has specific curved shaped wings that spin to produce unbalanced aerodynamic forces. Franklin did believe that they don’t come back, but I feel that boomerangs can come back anytime because they are not made to remain in the air forever.
