My article of concern speaks about the manner in which the world has changed and the strategies that people used to carry out activities no longer work. I found the essay to be informative and, therefore, I believe that everyone in the world ought to be aware of how the world has changed. Insight should be brought in the minds of other people to enable them to understand that they need to change their ways of doing things in order to see a change. This article is made for all the readers of the New York Times newspaper.
In the article of thinking globally about history and culture, the author talks about the manner in which people from the past used to have strong beliefs about the things tha6t they did. Such beliefs played a substantial role in ensuring the success of economic and political activities. The author discusses different cultures such as the manner in which the current demand for luxury goods in China is growing at a very high rate. As well, the number of Indians that own a cell phone is larger than that of the Indians than have access to a flushing toilet. In addition, civilization has resulted in a lot of differences between the east and the west and, therefore, the countries that have not adapted to the modern way of living cannot be blamed.
