Pax Mongolia and Pax Romana
The Roman Empire dominated most of Europe for close to five hundred years leaving a lasting legacy in the continent. There are a lot of historical studies about the legacy of the empire, most of these studies are Eurocentric and tend to ignore the legacy of other empires outside Europe. Among of these empire is the Mongol Empire which arose among the nomadic Mongol people in central Asia and spread across much of Asia and parts of Europe. A look into similarities and differences in integration systems in the Mongol Empire and Roman Empire is the core of this paper.
