During the crusades, wars were fought between Muslims and Christians, this brought diverse changes in their societies including social, political and cultural issues whereby Europeans brought there culture to the Eurasian region.
Between the years 500-1300CE Europe experienced various changes especially in the political and religious spheres of life. Firstly, many European nations experienced political and power struggles as many monarchs fought amongst themselves to challenge the dominance of the Church’s authority. Additionally, Muslims began attempts to spread Islam from Spain towards France. In spite, of these instabilities and uncertainties, Charlemagne rose to power and unified much of Europe.
