Innovation requires that one comes up with something new. However, more often than not, innovation involves building on the already existing innovations; it is referred to as multiplication technique. This means improving on what already exists. One of the best examples of innovation that is pegged on multiplication is the dual camera setups on mobile phones (Hall, 2017).

The normal camera allows for the user to take photos at the normal depth, with a much narrower field of vision.
The wide angle lenses camera allows for the user to take photos within a wider field of view therefore capturing more in single shot (Hall, 2017).

The Led flashlight on the other hand allows for the production of light during capture as the apertures of the cameras open and close.
In the second camera, it is possible to increase the depth of the images without sacrificing on the thickness of the phone. This means that the telephoto camera can be flipped 90 degrees to allow for a telescopic view of the surrounding and give the images the same field depth while maximizing on a thin device with no compromises on the quality of the photos (Hall, 2017).

In an age when crowd funding has become quite popular, it is important to understand the basic of some of the leading websites. The first is Kickstarter which the most popular of the sites for the most creative innovative ideas. However, due to the popularity of the site, it allows for better visibility of projects to investors. Indiegogo on the other hand charges 4% of the funds, 3% as transactional fee, and 4% if the project achieves it goals and 9% if it doesn’t.
