Zombie films and texts revolve around fictional figures. On most occasions, these films or texts portray animated corpses or individuals infected with the nonconventional virus. Generally, these texts fall under the horror genre, they cross over into other genres, such as action and science fiction. The main issue in zombie texts and research is the fundamental relationship between human beings and the implication of the relationship between human beings and the world. The majority of these texts mainly reflect the end of the world as we know it. Zombie texts and research mostly invest in people’s understanding of the historical, cultural, and scientific aspects of the living dead. Although zombies theories, from which most authors of zombies texts and films embed, are not widely accepted in society, these texts serve as a critical framework of existing societal issues.
