I want to start a new country; my only problem is to find land because all the land has been occupied by other countries. Even if I find land, it will be difficult to defend it from external invasion. Buying land is not enough defending is the most important thing (Johnson 10). The best option is to acquire land through government using diplomatic process or search for an island off the coast in any nation. I am thinking of buying land from a sovereign government; I have decided to come up with design contests as an alternative plan. A design contest provides those interested to be involved in the new country. My idea of design contests is that those interested are expected to create designs that will help solve the land issue (Zheng and Wenhua 3).
The designs will be subjected to voting; the contestants will check the agreement box before submitting their design. After submission, the person with the most votes between 6 months to 1-year period will be the winner of the design contest. Those who participate in the contest needs to encourage their friends and families to vote for them. In any contest, there are rules (Seidel and Benedikt 16). Below are some of the design contest rules and the general requirements.
1 All participants must be 18 years and above
2 You need to choose and submit only one name
3 The name has to be unique and relevant to the vision of the country
