Poor Minimum Wage
Raising the minimum wage has become a necessity in both developed and under-developed countries. Unfortunately, only a handful of governments have taken serious measures in this regard. For example, in the United States, the minimum wage is now set at $7.25 per hour, which is still not enough to fulfill the requirements of poor workers.
It should be noticed that raising the minimum wage to $15.00 per hour could reduce poverty to an extent. Underpaid employees are found to be losing their interest in their jobs. Some of them begin looking for better-paying positions, while the others quit on their employment and attempt to establish their own businesses.
