The epidemiological and clinical studies have highlighted that through regular aerobic exercises can reduce the risks of death caused by stroke or heart disease, plays a big role in weight reduction, prevention of diabetes mellitus, the enhancement of immune function and strengthening of bones. Although there is a long list of the benefits that are psychological, it is said that there is a good relationship between mental achievement and physical fitness (Iuliano, Joseph E., et al, 129). Dance has been known to be not only enjoyable but also a physical activity promoting health. People who are not active find dance as an alternative of exercising.
Dance has been used as a form of exercise that needs you to mostly use the muscles of your body. As a part of rituals when paired with music in the ancient times, dance has really come around for a very long period of time. Music is what has always completed dance. As much as dance was used for rituals in ancient history it has also been a form of entertainment.
Evidently, dancing is termed as an exercise that has great benefits to the person who is consistent in its practice. Other exercises may be deemed boring but dancing isn’t because with the incorporation of music, it will make it a play in that the person or people will be having fun while performing an exercise at the same time. Notably in dancing, one does not require equipment’s for there is no exercising machine that is suitable for dancing. All you really need is just music to dance along to. With dancing you can do it anywhere you feel like. You can do stretches and get to the body shape that you have always wanted.
Additionally, dancing is also a great way of reducing stress and one can easily build up their stamina. This is because due to the many movement styles of dancing. There is need for balance in dancing and while having fun and staying active at the same time. One can look younger through dancing because its kinds of slow down the process of aging. The breathing rates and muscle exertion that are in on dance are equivalent to swimming, cycling and an 800-meter Olympics runner.
Many people who have been practicing dancing rarely have bones or joints problems this is because dance plays a key role in in strengthening the bones. Withal, dance has also been of great help in the osteoporosis treatment a condition that has been a major female concern. Though dance, Arthritis can also be prevented because the process keeps the joints lubricated. Notably, people who are struggling with weight issues can burn calories and get to increase blood circulation through dance. This is because dancing as estimated, can burn 5 to 10 calories per minute.
According to a study by author Anna Duberg from the Sweden Center for Health Care Sciences, it was found that , as much as there is stress and other problems that may occur in a girl that is in her adolescent stage, dance can lead to a great adherence and a more positive outcome for the ones participating in it.
