Discuss the historical perspective of the legislative branch. (First Congresses, AOC, VA, and N.J. plans)
The legislature is the branch of government responsible for enacting legislation. Congress is America's legislature's name. Congress. The United States Constitution divides Congress in two: the Senate and the House of Representatives, which are the pattern for American governance. The Legislative Power is the authority to determine how the Commonwealth's Armed Forces will be used to protect the community and its members. But, since those laws that must be continuously executed and whose force must endure may be created in a short time, there is no need for the Legislative to remain in existence at all times, unless it has work to perform. The Connecticut Compromise sparked an important discussion among state delegates over how each state should be represented in Congress. As a result, the Congress was divided into two chambers. This resulted in the House of Representatives, which is based on the population of each state. The bicameral legislature was preserved, but the Upper House had to be altered to accommodate two senators from each state.
