This chapter (XI) discusses and gives in details the Historical of Jesus as the first century Jew since his birth to the time of his Ministry. . The search for the historical Jesus has helped many individuals appreciate more deeply the truth of the incarnation that truth God becomes a human being. For the Christians to understand human Jesus, they must understand Him as we would any human. Within the context of the time and culture in which he lives, "For Jesus, this time and culture was first-century Judaism" (302)
The chapter gives brief history of who Jesus think he was and elaborates how Jesus had connection to God to be called his only son. We also learn that the Jew context in the kingdom and of that messiah. It elaborates the kingdom of God as the defeat of evil spirits powers using the third Quest`s member`s theory.
