The Islamic Hadith and its influence in Islamic Civilization
Islamic Hadith provides silent approval for individuals in Arabic and Islamic civilization in terms of their behaviour and interactions with other people. The words, actions, and teachings of Prophet Muhammad give guidance to the Muslim community. Along with the Quran, they provide education to Muslims worldwide, significantly impacting the Arabic and Islamic civilization. The hadith directs some aspects of Muslim life, such as religious obligations, mode of dressing, type and time of prayer, salutations, and benevolence to neighbours and the help. This century gap is what caused differences in narrations and content as the reliability depended on what information the narrator was exposed to. The Sunni Muslims took their narrations from Abu Bakr and Umar and considered those who followed Ali’s version to be unreliable. The disagreement between the Sunni and the Shia Muslims stems from their recollection of Prophet Muhammad’s words based on the trust in the credibility of each of their narrators.
The Hadith has, however, come in for criticism with individuals mostly questioning the authenticity of the laws and if they are connected to Prophet M...
