A New Evolutionary Perspective – The Nomadic Forager Model
Ever since the inception of Darwin’s Evolutionary theory, several debates about how natural selection really works have arisen. One of these debates concern natural selection based on how individual actions affect a group. On the one hand, some scholars note that human’s innate of helping one another accounts for an increase in their fitness as a group. Among this observation that came from a positive light is the ‘Inclusive Fitness Theory’. Particularly, it states that “helping relatives is an indirect way of enhancing one’s fitness” (Fry 179).
