Different theories and concepts have been put forward to explain the human development process. Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs explains the way through which human beings achieve their goals. Maslow argues that some of the human need precede over the others and they should, therefore, be fulfilled before moving to the next level. Physiological needs such as food water are at the bottom of the pyramid followed by the safety needs such as security. The individual will need to develop a sense of love and belonging.
