The article “Unemployment Isn’t What It Used to Be” by Neel Kashkari portrays a significant change in the economy of the United States of America (USA). For many years, the American government has been focusing on various ways to reduce the rate of unemployment in the country. However, recently, the Wall Street Journal reported shocking figures revealing how joblessness is no longer a problem for many Americans. In 2019, the USA government was expected to create about 100,000 to keep pace with the growing population. However, it surpassed that number by creating an average of 205,000 jobs (Kashkari). In other words, many people will get employed, which is likely to increase the rate of inflation.
