Appropriate decision-making processes and models are essential to managers. I have learned that managers should ensure excellent decisions to enhance proper coordination between the management team and the employees. In this case, al business operations will yield positive steps towards achievement of organizational goals. As a manager, I should ensure implementation of logical and rational decisions to work at the best interest of the organization. This effort is bound to activate rapid movement towards the achievement of the laid mission. Although working at the anticipation of certainty might be challenging, managers should have adequate knowledge to promote continuity of the business under any incidence, whether negative or positive. I have gained sufficient knowledge on the significant ways towards business success. An excellent process involves clear defining of the problem with adequate knowledge on the possible alternatives and their respective outcomes. Managers should evaluate all existing alternatives and chose the best idea working towards achievement of goals with minimal errors and challenges.
Working for an organization as a manager and an employee has helped me in the realization and definition of the various strengths I exhibit in my work place. First, I ensure implementation of effective communication between the management and the other employees to enhance continuity in business operations. Continuous communication minimizes problems and challenges between the workers since everyone has excellent understanding on the job requirements and timely completion of any assigned tasks. Working under certain schedules without failures enhances efficiency and escalation towards the achievement of business goals and objectives. The implementation of decentralization of power among supervisors from different departments ensures proper coordination and meeting of all the requirements desired by the organization. Also, the supervisors help in management of workers to minimize issues like absenteeism and poor productivity in business operations. Although the supervisors may oversee various activities, I ensure proper delegation of the group to create a sufficient working environment. Leaving the individuals to work without supervision will yield relaxation resulting to business failure. Hence, although I do not have the intention of dominating all the process, I implement delegation in an attempt to push for continuous efforts in the achievement of organization’s mission.
