As studies made by various scholars reveal, the state of being lonely is more dangerous as compared to being overweight. It establish that loneliness can increase the chances of one dying by 26%. Besides, social isolation and lacking social connection is also bad to our health (Nicole and Barbara 518). It is due to this that has made people in societies to regard the fact of staying connected to friends, whichever the locate they are using technology as the main tool for connection. However, technology has been criticized as one of the main causes of human loneliness among the human race. It has been argued that it has led to the deteriorattion of human skills and that technology cannot be valued as a means of communication. Despite this criticism, technology has greatly contribute to the human connection without geographical limits, those who are unable to commmunicate effectively on the face to face system can use technology to communicate effectively, it is a center source for leisure and technology has become a key source of information and ideas.
