Please let read my first analysis first, and you need find one more sourse. Sorry
As we have discussed in class, writers typically enter a conversation with others through their work by composing essays about topics that others have written about and are writing about, each bringing different ideas and perspectives to the attention of readers and writers. For your second major paper, you are to select an essay in addition to the one that you have analyzed for Writing Exercise #2. For this paper, you need to consider the way that sources can work together to help readers gain an understanding of a particular topic. You need to analyze both sources according to the guidelines of rhetorical analysis that we have discussed previously, with considerations of organization, style and form, the use of evidence and sources, rhetorical appeals, and any other ways the writers seek to appeal to the audience. You will be incorporating your selected essay from your previous assignment; however, you do not want simply copy and paste what you have previously written about this essay—be sure to consider how it works with your second essay. Ultimately, you need to synthesize these two essays, allowing one to see how they function when considered together, and you need to provide a thesis in which you indicate something that can be learned about this topic by considering these two essays together—in other words, what can we learn about this topic that we may not have seen or understood by reading either of them alone? In your introduction, be sure to introduce both of your essays, provide necessary context, as well as your thesis statement. If you used an essay from Canvas for Writing Exercise #2, then you need to find the second essay on your own.
Your Paper Should:
-Follow the guidelines listed above;
-Present a clear and compelling thesis based on your thorough analysis of two essays that are linked by topic;
-Draw a conclusion about the ways in which the authors use rhetoric to shape understanding of the topic (and why that should matter to your readers);
-Be written in a clear, formal, and energetic prose style;
-Be free of grammatical and/or typographical errors;
-Contain citations for any sources used, following MLA guidelines and including a “Works Cited” page at the end;
-Include a title that reflects the spirit and scope of the essay;
-Be 4-5 pages in length (double-spaced, one-inch margins, 12 point Times New Roman);

Maintaining a Healthy Lifestyle
In the article by Aaron E. Carroll on the “simple rules of healthy eating,” the author has made a tremendous contribution of seven rules on healthy eating. Carroll argues that several writers have their opinions on what the readers of their articles should not do in selecting their food nutrient and say very little what actually should be done. He has chosen to write on what actually should be done compared to as what should not be done. On the other hand, the article "The Pleasures of Eating" written by Wendell Berry describes the importance of understanding the link between eating, good agricultural practices and how to get the pleasure from food. The content is an informative article targeting people living in urban areas, advising them how to eat responsibly. The two authors have significantly advocated on the need to focus on the consumption of natural food products without undergoing industrial processing steps which render them unhealthy.
The use of the second person in the article by Caroll makes the reader identify with it. By continually using “you” the audience gets the feeling that the piece is directed them. From the introduction, the author refers to various writers which give the article a more believable approach. He states that it is by reading many books that he can come up with the content for the article. The author is very particular in his style of writing. The piece is well layered out from the introduction to the body to the conclusion. The points that he wants to put across are well articulated in the body that is arranged in point form. He uses simple language and sentences that make the article easy to read and understand. His paragraphs are short and precise yet give precise details on what we should do. Each paragraph uniquely supports an individual point. It is not too wordy, and the arrangement is simple in that by reading the opening sentence, the reader can instantly understand the concept presented in the paragraph. His use of relevant examples is on point. He does not just write vaguely but is sure to leave clear cases like foods, vegetables and particular restaurants that the audience can get the best types of foods. Also, he uses photographs to add color to the article. The picture of the green market in Union Square is well placed and instantly grabs the attention of the audience. Another style that was appealing was the use of links to guide the reader to different related sites for further reading. The strategy makes the audience deem it as accurate.
Wendell Berry on the other hand though with the same arguments focuses more on the art of food production. The article states that eating is an agricultural act that everyone should embrace or at least learn about. The piece emphasizes more on the food production in agrarian areas and presents the urban residents as being without the knowledge that goes into specialized food production. Wendell’s article is more complicated to unde...
