What is the distinction between resistance to unjust authority and active revolution seeking to overturn unjust authority? What might justify revolution to “alter or abolish” an established authority?
Many countries in the world have had instances of resistance but few have had the experience of a revolution. The two terms, though often used interchangeably, are very different. Resistance, for example, can happen every day and can be done in a number of ways. For example, in Sudan, people resisted the bread prices which they believe were exaggerated.
