Hotels, restaurants and eat out places where people buy take away play an important role both for the customers and the owners. The managers and staffs at these premises give nutritious foods and excellent services to the customers for a repeat business. But, despite the notion of the customers of getting the healthy foods that they carry away, the managers and staff who make a living from foods exceptionally fast foods and take away devalue aspects of consumer behavior about healthy foods. Eating healthy food is essential for a person, and it surrounds elements of the healthy environment, clean food, and their precious nutritional contents. I have visited numerous restaurants to order take away foods due to time and peer influences. Many of the customers choose foods according to their taste and preferences with the majority not bothering on the nutritional aspects. As a result, I started realizing some relationship aspects between customers and the order take-out foods. "Many customers flock the ordered food take away joints due to taste and preferences, time, peers influence and costs hence ignore nutritional aspects as Mr. Ranford mentions."
I visited the Pizza joint in New Orleans where I interviewed Mr. Ranford to learn more about this aspect of people-order take-out foods. Mr. Ranford is a food and beverage manager who specializes in food operations and management. He appeared to be in his late thirties and dressed officially in his supervisory attire of white shirt with a black tie and black pants. On his, office desk Mr. Ranford offered me a seat and a glass of chilled fruit juice. We could not do much of the formal introduction since I booked an appointment with Mr. Ranford a week earlier. I interviewed to identify the various factors that increase the relationships between people and the order take-out foods.
When I asked Mr. Ranford on the goal of the business, he cited “quick service and high quality are the objectives of the firm." The excellent service of food to the customers speaks volumes on trust which the restaurant relies on for repeat business. Mr. Ranford focused on the profit-making ambition as the failure of different firms in the industry without taking into consideration consumer care and their benefits. He noted that it is essential to earning a place in the competitive market through valuing quality in all aspects of cleanliness, timeliness, and nutrition.
