Cohabitation is common among youths who try to find true love. However, I will definitely live with my other half even before marriage. Cohabitating results into an indispensable experience as one is able to lean and appreciate her partner’s habits. In addition, cohabitation helps to save money; one house rather than two, thus saving money for the wedding and honeymoon. Before marriage, couples must openly discuss their sexual needs, preferences and fears. Knowing a partner’s sexual needs deepens everything and reduces tensions that might pop up in other areas after marriage (Crooks, 2013).
On the other hand, family goals and parenting styles should be the discussions couples engage in after marriage. Although couples may have discussed such issues before marriage, it is only after marriage that family goals and parenting become real. As a result, it is important for couples to answers questions such as; should we start a family immediately after marriage or should we wait? How many children do we desire to ...
