The religious beliefs of public school children are diverse. Some of the students are from Jews, Christianity, Islamic, Hinduism and other religious backgrounds. All these children attend same public schools; no public school is designed for a particular religious group. All the interest of these children and their parents concerning religion must be respected, and nobody, not even the teachers should attempt to change that interest.
Teachers should recognize the diversity of their pupils. The teachers must know that even if a public school is located in an area dominated by Islam or Christians, not all pupils in the school are of that faith. Schools must not focus on only teaching and preaching about the presumed religion of the area. Preaching of a particular religion makes both the parents and the pupils uncomfortable.
