Another factor to consider is that men perform most plastic surgeries than women and the patients are mostly women. This factor alone seems to conclude that women undergo plastic surgeries than men. However, more than ninety percent of all plastic surgeries are performed on women, who consider plastic surgeries for various reasons. Most women contemplate on going under the knife to enhance their appearance and appear attractive to the opposite gender. Most women consider plastic surgeries and consider the advantages of plastic surgeries for women. Compared to men. Although popular media influence the public perception of surgeries, women consider going under the knife for various reasons. Some women acknowledge plastic surgery as a way of improving their self-esteem. Women that consider plastic surgery may not content with their appearance and go for the operation to enhance their appearance so that they may be confident with themselves.
