Not everyone can keep up with technology these days, but when a person buys a brand-new Jeep, he will get an easy access to the advanced infotainment and safety technology available in the market. The person can easily use the jeep to go anywhere he likes, such as he can travel long distances along with family and friends, or can reach the top of a mountain all alone while ensuring his protection and safety. With the same idea in mind, the creator of this advertisement tried to promote a series of jeeps. The 1.35-minute long video ad begins with the top view of a mountainous area. At a glimpse, it looks like a boring place, but when the advertisement moves on, the viewers are introduced to a handful of jeeps trying to reach the top of a mountain via an uncertain and dangerous route.
It’s safe to say that the current advertisement is quite interesting and attractive since the view of mountains as well as the desert has been given from varying angles. This is basically an Easter Jeep Safari, also known as Moab Jeep Safari. The Safari event is held in Utah and is hosted by the Red Rock 4-Wheelers off-road club, where 4-wheelers come to challenge the rough terrain of the backcountry in the Moab, Utah area. As the title indicates, it is a festival of jeeps that lasts for nine to ten days, going through Easter Sunday. The festival is, however, closed since 2004, and this message has also been given in this particular advertisement. The reason for why it was closed is unknown, but some people think that it was closed due to the dangers involved in driving jeeps on top of the mountain.
According to Wreetabrata Kar and team, some video advertisements show dangerous stunts, which are not to be tried by inexperienced individuals (Kar et al. 20). Regardless of how dangerous the event had been, it was indeed a fun-filled activity for the people of Utah. This beautiful state is situated in the west of the United States, and through this advertisement, the creator has not only promoted the tourism industry of Utah but also has let the viewers understand that the Moab Jeep Safari is not as bad as many people think it to be.
