Tragically, Romeo and Juliet hail from the two fighting families, the Montagues and the Capulets individually, which decides their extraordinary, short relationship. Shakespeare presents many endeavors in the play to connect the contempt between the families. However, just the passing's of the mates can have an enduring effect. At last, the families' scorn for each different emerges from a powerful urge to maintain their family's pride and respect and neither one of the party's appears to be equipped for overcoming the "old resentment" and the stewing grievances and pressure (Bloom 18).
