Journalism is as old as civilization and has evolved with time taking different forms and methods in production and distribution of the news. Recent inventions have played a big role in the revolution in the way that journalists distribute information to their audience. For a long time, newspapers were the primary source of news that the society depended on since 1605 in Strasburg, Germany when the first newspaper was published. The invention of radios and televisions changed this and took journalism to a new level. The internet has facelifted the sector in a great way in the current century making the news readily available to anyone, anytime and anywhere.
The Daily Banner volume 21. NO 116 is a newspaper that was published on the 5th of February, 1918 at Cambridge, Maryland. The newspaper was divided into five columns with the left column being the allocated the largest space. The use of large font was the feature that was widely utilized to catch the attention of the reader. The newspaper contained a total of five pictures that were printed in a black and white design and three of the five diagrams were used to describe the various commodities. This organization of the paper makes is easy to read and uses simple language which enables the users to have a clear understanding of the message being passed across.
