2.Identify the insights you have gained from this specific assessment
3. How can you apply these insights for personal growth?

(Student’s name) (Professor’s name) Literature and Language 09 April 2018 IAT Test Analysis My result for the age IAT test shows that I have no automatic preference between old and young people and I got the same findings for the gender test because I really see everyone equally. However, there is a slight difference in the result of weight test because it shows that I have a moderate preference for thin people compared to fat people. If someone was to get the same result, I will not judge them right away because they may have a valid reason why it happens to be like that. 1st of all, the choices people make can be based on an unpleasant experience they went through in their childhood or it could be a recent one. The aspect in my life that may have shaped my response to the age and gender test are the times when I was new in a place because when this happens, you learn to be more open to everyone. Although, if I see someone making an effort to change their diet and lifestyle because their genes contribute to their weight, I support them 100%. I do understand that genes play a role in someone’s weight, but that person should be making an effort to make healthy choices for themselves. I will not hate someone if they are fat, but I will be disappointed if they are aware of the changes they need to make, but still make bad choices. If they have a family, they should live long enough to see their grandchild and just be there. This is the reason why I will not judge anyone who has the same results as me because they could have a justifiable reason for it. The insights I have gained from this assessment are that people have their own preferences and they ...
