The 1st cover to be discussed is the one by Rufus Wainwright in the Shrek movie. The accompaniment is only a piano to make give life to the singing. It gives listeners a feeling of serenity and peace while being reminded of sweet childhood memories when they were being cradled to sleep. This version sounds like a lullaby that someone could listen to before sleeping. The tempo of this version is between 25 to 45 bpm which is appropriate for how the song goes. In addition, even if only a piano was used as accompaniment to the song, it was not bragging to hear because it is more worthwhile to pay attention to the lyrics. The melody was sung well by the artist and it does not differ much from the original one. The 2nd cover is sung by Rhema Marvanne, a girl who is 8 years old giving it a more youthful appeal. By releasing this cover, younger listeners would appreciate the song too because they can relate to the singer pretty well. Aside from that, there are a lot of emotions in the voice of Rhema which means that a girl her age could also feel the depth of the song. It tells the younger generation that they are also capable of listening to the song no matter how old it is.
