GMO Foods Should Be Labeled Summary

Problem: The United States does not require foods with GMOs to be labeled. A proposal has been made to create a food labeling system that will inform consumers when a food contains material from a GMO.
Goal: By doing research, completing a persuasive essay, and creating talking points for a class debate, the class will successfully reach a solution to the problem above. If you are for GMOs, you must argue against GMO labeling of foods. If you are against GMOs, you must argue for GMO labeling on foods. Whatever your position is, you need to do research so you can formulate well-reasoned arguments that are supported by facts and examples.
