How does the playwright achieve the presentation of information through dialogue and/or stage directions? What do you know about the characters already?
In the story of Gidion’s Knot and The Aliens the authors were able to use dialogue to present the characters and the scene through the use of the proper use of mood, tone, and accent. More particularly, the information is portrayed in Johnna Adams’ Gidion’s Knot through the process of inquisition. Exposition is the process of conveying information by focusing more on questioning the characters so that the viewers would be able to understand the context and feel that scene more CITATION Wes17 \l 1033 (Westlin).
