The city of Florida is situated within Miami-Dade County, United States. It is considered as the southernmost municipality within the metropolitan area of South Florida that had an approximated population of around five million four hundred and thirteen thousand, two hundred and twelve, in the year two thousand and seven. It is a popular city that has numerous attractive structures and an amazing destination for many tourists, initially meant for retirees. Researchers have found that in most urban development, the political agency tend to be involved and this leads to total partial or total management of the cities by the government (Baird, 12). The patterns of land ownership in Florida relate a lot to the patterns of urban form.
For a common person, being a Florida resident is almost impossible due to the complications surrounding the city. This fact is dependent on the management of the city and the people or institutions that own it. It has been observed in various cities that the urban form is dependent on the patterns of land ownership. For instance, Tokyo is believed to have an estimate of one point one million of urban land which is individual parcel (Baird, 12). Yet, the parcels are owned by around one point seven million private groups or individuals, which explain clearly on Tokyo’s urban form. Thus, both the small buildings found on the small parcels, as well as the multi-use building complexes have made a great contribution towards the specific character of Tokyo. Similarly, Florida City has other numerous cities that bear classy and attractive sites all over the towns. Interestingly, the government is on the lead in the management and is commonly referred to as a municipal government. It is a beautiful city that is surrounded by beautiful attractions, and the cost of living there can be hectic for a normal person.
