1 Eugene O’Neill’s play has been widely known for its uniqueness especially in terms of the elements of fragmentation and disillusionment of everyday life. As evident in the play Eugene tried to portray what usually happens in his life by focusing on a single day and dividing it into chapters to provide a much more vivid and specific view of how one’s life could be fragmented.
