The policies and procedures for the course are; Assignments, Professionalism, Electronic devices, Academic Integrity and Plagiarism & correct documentation. After examining the syllabus and the course policies for the Professional Writing course, I have several expectations regarding how I expect to do in this course. My overall expectation is that at the end of the course I will be able to create compelling narratives and voices as well as prepare documents of real-world standards that can be placed for publications both locally and nationally.
Writing proposals and reports are the two areas that I expect to do well. This is because of my writing experience of 2 years as a freelance writer covering wide variety of topics with quality content. During this time I specialized in wide research areas such as literature, business, theology and history topics.
