David Duan Course Instructor 15/1/2019 Education is the Key In the speech from Dr. Faust, people learn that even in our society today, women are still being treated differently; At work, in politics, and most importantly, in academics. Why is the treatment in academics important? It is because the only solution to gender inequality is education. Education is the key to fix gender inequality. To begin with, education is powerful. In Dr. Faust’s speech, a young girl Malala Yousafzai said that she was shot in the head by Taliban gunmen because of their fear of “the power of education.” Education is like a weapon or tool. People can use education and knowledge to fight the war against gender inequality.
