In a Summary & Response essay, you are writing to fulfill two objectives: first, to demonstrate your understanding of the material and second, to provide your personal insight regarding the topic. Your insights can take two forms, either support or refutation. In fact, both may be included in the “response” portions of your paper. One of the things that you must remember is you summarize or “explain” the author’s original ideas. However, remember while it is the author’s ideas, they should be explained in your words. As you explain the author’s original ideas you will be integrating your personal insights into them as well as your personal opinion regarding the issue. The article, “Sorry, Childless Millennials Going to Disney is Weird” shows the type of people that can visit Disney world and the activities they can enjoy from the site. Furthermore, it asserts the important lessons the author learned from the mother and son incident. It gives the age brackets and the group of people who can visit Disney World. Besides, I did research to identify things that both children and the adults admire at Disney World. The article shows the benefits Disney world receives from an increased number of people going to the park. The article shows the upset a mother undergoes when he takes his son for a trip to Disney World. In the article, the mother explains the frustration she faces when her son wanted a Mickey Mouse pretzel due to too long lines.
The mother became furious she curses the woman with no children for competing with children for the same things. She refers to them as immature millennials who waste their money on useless things. The mother refers to this as irrelevant things that waste people’s time. It is a frustrating thing to him seeing the adult competing for the same things as children. In her suggestions, she is against the adults going to Disney World such as the couples she made without children on the trip. Her son was impatient to wait for the Mickey pretzel as he cries.
Their websites show that all things are attractive and enjoyable to adults such as spa day with massages and wine, fine dining, guided tours in the park, monorail bar crawl, and golfing. In my view, I cannot take my child to the above things. However, some people think that adults without children should be going to those events. All of us can agree that these things are expensive for nothing and they do not suit the adult generations in society from the age of twenty-one to up to ninety years of age. Disney uses the best tactic in marketing that makes the experience more enjoyable for every visitor (Dubois Par. 2). I am sure that the park earns a lot of money from these things due to diversity in many opportunities.
On the Disney website, they have no limit on anyone going to the park without children. Therefore, people can visit the park with or without children, and there is no problem with adults going to these facilities. Some couples can opt for honeymoon suites to have...
